MamboCurve is an experiment to see how closely I can mimic the look and feel of Bluecurve. Bluecurve is a theme that was introduced by Red Hat and comes bundled with their Linux Distro, it is also available with their Fedora Core project.
I am not a Linux user at all, but I became a big fan of Bluecurve when it was ported to Windows XP to use as a theme (shellstyle). Shortly after, I themed my personal site, www.tleone.com to BlueCurve as well. You can see that older version of my site here.
Earlier this year I migrated my site to Mambo as it was becoming harder to maintain and I was outgrowing the layout as I wanted to add more content. Since migrating to Mambo, I’ve become motivated to create my own template and that’s where we are today.

I am not a programmer by any means; I basically only know HTML and recently started using CSS more. With that being said, MamboCurve is a heavily modified SolarFlareII template with javascripts that I have found on the net. (See source for credits).
